## <mark style="color:$primary;">Why do I need an AgeGO account?</mark>

#### Creating an AgeGO account has several advantages:

* Only verify your age once for any AgeGO affiliated website.
* You can easily manage your AgeGO account.
* You can delete your AgeGO account at any time.
* We protect your account’s email address by encryption.

## <mark style="color:$primary;">How To Create an AgeGO Account?</mark>

Start the age verification process when you visit a website that uses AgeGO.

After a successful verification, you can create an AgeGO account to make future access faster.

On a successful verification you will be prompted to create an AgeGO account.

Choose how you would like to create your account:

Enter your email address and the code sent to your inbox to access the site and create your AgeGO account.

Select Sign in with Google to create your AgeGO account using your Google account, without receiving an email code.

On future visits to websites that use AgeGO, you can log in using your AgeGO account.

**→ Note:** If you Skip AgeGO registration, no account will be created and you will have to verify your age on the next visit to a website using AgeGO.

## <mark style="color:$primary;">Future Access To Websites Using AgeGO</mark>

Once you have verified your age through AgeGO, the process becomes much simpler. The next time you visit a website with age-restricted content that is affiliated with AgeGO, here is what you will need to do:&#x20;

✓ Visit the website you want to access.\
✓ In the age-verification pop-up, click “**Already Verified? Access Here**”.\
✓ Choose your preferred login method:

### <mark style="color:$info;">Email Login</mark> <a href="#id-1" id="id-1"></a>

✓ You will be asked to enter your email address and click “**CONTINUE**”.\
✓ A **one-time AgeGO** code will be sent to your email.\
✓ The pop-up will ask you for the **AgeGO code**.\
✓ Enter the **AgeGO code** into the field.\
✓ You will now be able to see the website’s age-restricted content.

### <mark style="color:$info;">Google Login</mark> <a href="#id-2" id="id-2"></a>

**✓** Select **Sign in with Google**.\
\&#xNAN;**✓** Authenticate with your Google account.\
\&#xNAN;**✓** You will now be able to see the website’s age-restricted content.&#x20;

### <mark style="color:$info;">Passkey Login</mark> <a href="#id-4" id="id-4"></a>

✓ Select **Passkey login** (if previously set up in your AgeGO account).\
✓ Authenticate using your device (Face ID, fingerprint, or device PIN).\
✓ Authentication is completed instantly.\
✓ You will now be able to see the website’s age-restricted content.

## <mark style="color:$primary;">How To Set Up a Passkey</mark>

Log in to your AgeGO account using Email + OTP or Sign in with Google.

↳ Go to My Account.

↳ Select Add New Passkey.

Follow the on-screen instructions to create a passkey using your device (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, etc.).

On desktop devices, a QR code will be displayed.

Once created, your passkey will be available for future logins.

### <mark style="color:$info;">How To Manage Passkeys</mark>

From My Account you can view the complete list of registered passkeys.

You can remove an existing passkey.

When a passkey is removed, a confirmation message is displayed: “Passkey removed. You can still log in with Email OTP or other passkeys.

## <mark style="color:$primary;">Your Data & Privacy</mark>

When you create an account, AgeGO stores:

* Encrypted email address.
* Age verification status (Verified / Not Verified).
* Account creation date.
* If you choose to set up a Passkey, the passkey is stored on your device. AgeGO only stores the public key linked to your account.

If you have created an AgeGO account you may choose to delete it at any time. AgeGO does not retain any information once an account has been deleted.

The age verification status is the only information AgeGO provides to the website you are verifying your age for.

## <mark style="color:$primary;">How To Delete An AgeGO Account</mark>

You can delete your AgeGO account at any time, here are the steps:

Log in to your AgeGO account using Email + OTP or Sign in with Google.

If you logged in using Email + OTP, you will be asked to provide the email address used for registering your account.

If required, you will receive a verification code by email. Open your email, locate the code, and enter it when prompted.

On the next window you will see the option to “Delete Account.”

Click on this option and then click on the “Delete” option on the following screen.

Your data will then be removed and after a few seconds you will be logged out and returned to the main page.

⚠️ **Important:** Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All data linked to your account will be removed according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Any associated passkeys will no longer be usable.
